How plans work
- How cases count
- We count new cases opened in the 12 months before your renewal. A case counts once, when it is opened; closing it does not change the count.
- No mid-year changes
- Your plan is set at renewal and never changes during the term. If your firm has opened more cases than its plan covers, it moves up at the next renewal.
- Payments
- Card and ACH payments are built in, with no subscription for payments. Each payment carries a per-transaction processing fee, set out in your firm's merchant agreement before you take your first payment.
- Vigil allowance
- Vigil comes with a monthly allowance, larger on larger plans. More allowance comes in monthly blocks, never charged per question. Vigil is a research starting point; answers show their sources so your attorneys can verify them.
- Automatic USCIS case status
- On Enterprise. USCIS approves each firm for its Torch API separately, and we help you apply.
- Founding firms
- The first 25 firms keep their price for three years, with three months free.
- Nonprofits
- Half price for DOJ-recognized organizations.
